On Thursday, 7th of July 2022, Hanum Atikasari gave a dual presentation with Associate Professor Linda Bennett from The University of Melbourne at the 24th biennial conference of the Asian Studies Association of Australia (AASA) in Monash University, Australia. The paper presentation explores how women’s experiences of cervical cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care have been shaped by the covid-19 pandemic. They reflect on how such challenges among women seeking to navigate cervical cancer have amplified pre-existing inequities in access to cancer care in Indonesia.
